如何回复修改意见

reply to revision 

items that you can directly address: 

1. if a relatively major point, acknowledge the need for the change;

2. clearly stae what you did

3. clealry state what textual changes were made in the revised manuscript  and where changes lay out

items that resulted from a misunderstanding

1.politely point out that this is a misunderstanding

2. explicitly state what is actually meant where

3. perform additional analyses to show that the problems noted do not exist

items that you cannot (or do not think you can) directly address

1. show you understand the validity of the point made

2. if applicable. discuss how the limitation may have been alleviated by other methodological choices made

3. include a discussionof the limitation
