Gains: It’s the first time to learn this theory, which is completely new to me.
1. Language is more than its meaning, and it is the tool of tools. Our teachers make use of this tool to play a role of mediator in the classroom.
2. CBLI focuses on the teaching-learning process rather than teacher-based.
3. Moreover, its assessment is a dynamic process instead of a static process. We attach more importance to the future of students, not the scores.
4. It’s necessary to know how to mediate in the classroom. We just narrow down the location of the errors, but we won’t tell the students what is the error.
Problems: 1. In a big class of more than 40 students, how to conduct CBLI? Or is CBLI only suitable for small classes?
2. What kind of courses can be applied such theory?
Suggestions: In the lecture, the videos displayed are all in the foreign classes. Is there any practice of such teaching mode in China?
